On hope and healing :: Full Moon in Sagittarius

Uncategorized Jul 03, 2020

I know that I usually come in here to provide some insight into how we can work with the moon cycles, and I'll do that...

But, I wanted to highlight that there's a real intersection of where spirituality meets our experience of humans.

We do the work on ourselves to become aware of where we have blocked our true selves, where we have forgotten about love and lived in fear, and to usher ourselves into our greatest potential.

And from that place, of being awake and aware, you can apply it out in the world.

I've always really believed that we are meant to awaken so that we can then share that love and effect positive change on our planet.

I really believe that we do the work to feel our feelings, to be rooted in our bodies and our hearts, so that we can have the strength to see the suffering and injustices in the world, and to help heal it.

As someone in tune with your intuition, you will always be guided to ways to be of service to others.

You will always be guided to ways to share your love with others.

Sometimes love is compassion.

And sometimes love is standing up for or helping to dismantle a system, a person, an institution, a comment, or a part of yourself that needs to be healed.

Part of being an awake soul is knowing that there is so much suffering, and instead of looking away, to be able to acknowledge that, have the strength to not turn away, and then let yourself be guided to the next actions for you to take.

This is spiritual activism.

You will always be guided - and where you will be guided will sometimes be a really difficult or unpopular place to go, but I know you're ready to stand in the fire to help revolutionize our world.

The Sagittarius moon demands for us to see the truth in our world.

To see the ways that we have been blinded.

To see the injustices that lay before us.

To see the ways we have or have not used our voice.

To see where there's work to be done.

To see the parts of our psyche that we weren't fully ready to heal.

And it demands that we get fired up so much that we commit to lasting change.

May you use the energy of this full moon to let your spirit guide you to set an intention to really ignite a new beginning for yourself and for our world, and then to follow it up with actionable, consistent steps you are willing to take to get there.

In case it was unclear, black lives matter, and the work that has been done this week individually and collectively is incredibly important.

As you move forward, I encourage you to just stay committed to the work.

See your social justice and anti-racism work as part of your ongoing spiritual work of helping us all to create a better, more peaceful, and equal world.

For those of you who have been feeling overwhelmed, or wanting to take action but don't know how, or who have maybe taken action but don't now know how to integrate, I'm here to help.  You can just hit reply to this e-mail and we can chat.

We heal and we rise together.
