In case you needed the reminder - trust yourself.
You already know the answer.
You already know what to do.
Trusting ourselves is hard. We're conditioned to rely on external sources to help us navigate life - when, in truth, its our inner compass that always has the answer.
Usually when I sit with someone and they're explaining some dilemma, and then we take a beat and I ask, "but what do you really want?" or "what do you really think?"
The answer always comes.
Sometimes it’s just that we're scared of the answer.
Forging your own path, and breaking through the constructs of what society, your family, or your past will dictate for your future take a lot of courage.
This is why trusting ourselves, and our own wisdom and decision-making capabilities feels hard.
But, sweet soul, you have the answer. You know what to do.
You also have the courage to do it.
